Why labels matter
Labels are how NextVid turns a list of videos into a pattern library. A video title can tell you what happened once. A clean format or topic label helps you see what keeps happening.
Label types to keep consistent
- Format describes the repeatable structure: tutorial, teardown, list, comparison, case study, reaction, review, or launch.
- Topic describes the subject the viewer came for.
- CTA describes the action you asked the viewer to take.
- Campaign or offer helps connect videos to launches, products, sponsors, or lead magnets.
Compare by window
Use short windows to inspect launch performance and longer windows to identify durable winners. A seven-day spike can reveal packaging strength. A ninety-day or lifetime view can reveal evergreen value.
When a video looks strange
If a video has unusual visibility, length, content type, topic, or publish timing, do not let it define the whole category. Mark the context and compare it with similar uploads before treating it as a strategy signal.
